Laura Amos

Laura started off her catering career in her teens working for a local restaurant in Lulworth Cove, Dorset. She studied catering at Bournemouth & Poole College, completed a three-month placement with Michelin star chef Jean Christophe Novelli and ended up working for him full time, running his pastry section at Maison Novelli. She went on to work at The Ivy as sous pastry chef and Le Caprice as head pastry chef before joining award-winning bakery Popina as head chef. In 2008, in the midst of a recession and with no savings to her name, she decided to start her own business. The Dessert Deli has just celebrated its tenth year.
